This Cookies Policy describes how TFRA – Sociedade de Advogados e Consultores SP RL (“TFRA”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the website www.tfra.pt (the “Website”). It should be read in conjunction with the Privacy Policy and the Website’s Terms of Use.

  • wp-settings-* / wp-settings-time-* (WordPress) — user preferences in the admin area, for logged-in users only — 1 year.

Consent records by category (CookieYes, 365 days): cookielawinfo-checkbox-functional, cookielawinfo-checkbox-analytics, cookielawinfo-checkbox-performance and cookielawinfo-checkbox-advertisement.

Should TFRA in future start using functional, analytical, performance or advertising cookies, this Policy and the consent banner will be updated accordingly.

4. Third-party resources — Google Fonts

The Website uses the Google Fonts service, operated by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, to load fonts. Loading the fonts involves sending the user’s IP address to Google, which may constitute a transfer of data to the United States of America, safeguarded by the appropriate safeguards provided for in the GDPR, namely the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Google Fonts does not install cookies on the user’s device. TFRA is currently assessing the option of self-hosting the fonts, in order to eliminate the transmission of the IP address to third parties.

5. Legal basis

Strictly necessary cookies are placed on the basis of TFRA’s legitimate interest in ensuring the functioning, security and integrity of the Website, and do not require prior consent. All other cookies are only placed with the user’s prior, free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.

6. Consent management

On their first visit to the Website, users are presented with a banner allowing them to accept all cookies, reject all non-strictly necessary cookies, or access detailed settings, enabling or disabling each category individually. Consent may be reviewed and changed at any time via the ‘Cookie Settings’ button available in the footer of the Website.

7. Processing of personal data

Data collected via cookies is processed by TFRA in accordance with the terms set out in the Privacy Policy, to which reference is made for detailed information on data subjects’ rights, retention periods, international transfers and contact details for exercising rights, including the obligation to inform third parties, the extension of retention periods in the event of a dispute, and participation in legal directories and awards.

8. Amendments

This Policy may be updated from time to time, in particular due to technological, legislative or regulatory changes, or the introduction of new cookies. The current version is always available on the Website, with the date of the last update indicated.
