Francisco Freire has 40 years of professional experience as an architect, during which he has participated — as a collaborator, project coordinator, general coordinator, co-author, and author — in over two hundred projects, approximately one hundred of which have been built.

He has broad professional experience encompassing both public and private works, in Portugal and France, across a wide range of programs, including housing, tourism developments, educational facilities, cultural venues, commercial and office buildings, as well as industrial and logistics units.

He is certified by the Portuguese Order of Architects for the exercise of project coordination activities for works of class 5 or above, as well as for the supervision and inspection of works on classified buildings, buildings in the process of classification, or buildings located within special or automatic protection zones, regardless of the respective class of work.

He taught the subject of Design in the Architecture program at the Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa, between 1990 and 2004. As a guest speaker, he represented the studio of architect João Luís Carrilho da Graça at various conferences and events.

He currently serves as Rapporteur on the Disciplinary Board of the Portuguese Order of Architects.

He is fluent in French, English, and Spanish.
