Elena Militaru has been with TFRA since 2025 as a Trainee Attorney.

A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon, she began a Master’s in Forensic Law in 2023, specializing in Civil Procedural Law and Labor Law, and is currently a master’s student at the Portuguese Catholic University (Lisbon School).

She wrote her master’s thesis in the field of Labor Law on the topic of the use of algorithms in the hiring of workers and is awaiting her thesis defense.

Her professional career has included participation in the project “Sustainable Immigration in a Social State Governed by the Rule of Law,” promoted by the Lisbon Public Law Centre.

She is fluent in Portuguese, English, Romanian, and French
